John Beach
July 5, 1942 - March 26, 2026
A tribute to John Beachan integral part of the TwinCities music scene since the beginning.
He played with Willie Murphy & The Bees and was with the band when they played on Bonnie Raitt's first album recorded here in Minnesota.
John has also played with many, many acts around the area, including Mississippi Driftwood along with Larry Hayes (original Lamont Cranston).
John was even inducted into the Blues Society's Hall Of Fame a few years back.
It was held at the Blues Saloon.
Larry and Danny Rowles are putting this tribute together.
You can bet there will be a huge crowd as John was highly respected.
Rowles has played with The Explodo Boys
and even had a short stint in Lamont Cranston.
He'll fly in from NY for the show.
They expect many local musicians would show up as well,
from Willie & The Bees and others.
The Blues Society and KFAI radio will all get behind the show as well.
The show will be Sunday, November 8, 2026.
Probably be about 2:00-6:00 or so.
Admission will be $12.00
